A bit of a catch up!
With the close of 2018 and the beginning of 2019 I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all my friends, family and followers for their continued support throughout the last ten years. But most of all I’d like to thank all my customers past and present, if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t have achieved what I have.
2018 was a big year to further my skill-set which saw me travelling to Europe; Belgium specifically. Where I undertook some detailing training with our associated brand ‘Nanolex‘. With other trips to Coventry, Melksham in Bristol and a fantastic training day with world renowned paint manufacturer PPG Industries down in Stowmarket where the day was all about the Max Mayer paint brand that I use here at my unit.
All in all what a year it has been for development of my own skills. 2019 may not be as busy, but some further training is planned with the abrasive brand Mirka spending a day with me in early January for enhancing my knowledge of abrasives.
2018 has been my biggest year to date and a massive year in terms of growth. In July we moved to our new premises, which brought on a lot of extra work and development of the new site. Now the unit is equipped with a segregated spray booth and a separate detailing area. Specialist lighting has been fitted to ensure no area goes unnoticed. This is also going to be further developed in 2019 so watch this space for that.
In 2018, further investment into our equipment has dramatically improved. With the purchases of a Spectrometer for our paint system, which will only help our colour identification. In the latter part of 2018 we also added a new state of the art UV Priming System which is helping reduce our repair times, a Plastic Welder to help with the ever growing need to repair rather than replace those cracked plastic bumpers, saving on landfill. Along side that a new Stat Gun which eliminates static build up on plastic panels when painting was purchased to obtain a better finish by eliminating static charge, preventing dust particles making their way onto the panels.
To end again I’d like to thank you all for your continued support.
